Modern turbomachinery design has moved far beyond aerodynamic analysis of the main gas path.

This case illustrates a mesh for a complete turbocharger, including all internal oil pathways and practical manufacturing details produced using automated curvature detection and feature enhancement. The moving reference-frames are handled in BOXERmesh via multi-material meshing. The different zones are meshed simultaneously with a convenient conformal interface between them.
