Sometimes a whole system needs to be simulated and when time-scales are short only BOXERmesh can import very large manufacturing CAD models without the need for clean-up and generate a mesh, ready to solve, within a few wall-clock hours.

In this example, the CAD model, from SolidWorks^™ for a closed loop turbine cascade test tunnel, was imported into BOXERmesh and a mesh of 50 million cells was exported ready-to-run Fluent^™. From CAD import to CFD start up took 0.5 hours.
